The Role
We’re looking for a technically minded problem solver who thrives at the intersection of data, engineering, and marketing. As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Wpromote, you’ll serve as an individual contributor who architects, implements, and maintains advanced tracking and measurement systems that power client marketing performance. This is a client-facing role in which you will collaborate with the client’s marketing and technology teams to architect and deploy solutions. You’ll design scalable data collection frameworks, implement cutting-edge server-side and privacy-first tracking solutions, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure our clients’ data is clean, actionable, and aligned with business goals. This role combines hands-on technical execution with strategic ownership—you’ll lead solution design, mentor junior engineers, and champion best practices across analytics and marketing technology platforms to help shape the future of data-driven marketing at Wpromote.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $121,000-$155,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees.
*This position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions

You Will Be
- Designing and implementing scalable, privacy-compliant tracking and measurement solutions across analytics, tag management, and ad platforms.
- Building and maintaining data collection frameworks in Google Tag Manager (client- and server-side), Adobe Launch, Segment, Tealium, and similar platforms.
- Configuring and integrating Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and Mobile Measurement Platforms (MMPs) such as Branch and Appsflyer.
- Implementing and optimizing server-side tagging, including GTM Server-Side, Segment Destination Actions, and Tealium EventStream.
- Developing scripts and utilities to extract or manipulate data from dataLayers, JavaScript objects, or DOM elements for custom tracking needs.
- Collaborating with data engineers to align event schemas with downstream data pipelines, BI tools, and warehouse environments.
- Auditing analytics and tracking implementations to identify data integrity issues, redundancies, and performance bottlenecks.
- Leading quality assurance testing, troubleshooting, and debugging for tags, pixels, and API integrations across digital environments.
- Building automated QA workflows or monitoring systems to ensure continuous data accuracy and reliability.
- Translating marketing strategies and KPIs into actionable technical tracking requirements.
- Partnering with digital marketing, data science, and media teams to ensure accurate and insightful measurement across channels.
- Presenting technical findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders, both internal and client-facing.
- Defining project scopes, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with client and account leads.
- Reviewing team deliverables, mentoring teammates, and driving quality assurance for tracking and implementation work.
- Documenting and standardizing implementation processes to ensure scalability across clients and platforms.
- Staying current on privacy regulations, analytics innovations, and emerging MarTech trends, and bringing forward best practices and thought leadership to the team.
You Must Have
- 3+ years of analytics or marketing technology experience in an agency, ad-tech, or client environment.
- Strong proficiency with analytics platforms (GA4, Adobe Analytics, Amplitude) and tag management systems (GTM, Segment, Tealium, Adobe Launch).
- Working knowledge of server-side tracking, data privacy tools, and CDP architecture.
- Experience with MMPs and mobile tracking (with or without SDK/MMP integrations).
- Understanding of web development (HTML, JavaScript) and data structures used for tracking (e.g., dataLayer design).
- Awareness of the digital marketing landscape (paid media, SEO, CRO, etc.) and how tracking supports optimization and attribution.
- Demonstrated ability to scope, plan, and execute technical projects while managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Excellent communication skills — able to clearly translate between technical detail and business context.
- A proactive, curious mindset and passion for learning new tools, APIs, and data systems.
